going with God
let's start at the very beginning...on our way to a new village in the Alaskan bush!
the cargo within arms reach always makes me smile...
our oldest is probably thinking what we're all thinking...what does God have in store for us this year?
our seats make me grin, too. removable depending on what our little plane is hauling...people or supplies?
this flight was only 15 minutes long to this village...over tundra lakes
the pilot nodded to us upon landing "okay, you're out here" (he was landing at three villages this day)
i made my husband confirm we were in the right place...newbies like us have gotten off in the wrong village before only to be stranded!
no one to meet us at the air strip this time...that's okay, we're brave!
we must not have looked brave because the pilot hollered to us over his engine "you gonna be okay? the village is that way!" before taking off again.
deep breath...and we head toward the unknown

These pictures really made me smile. My best friend is currently deeply immersed in flying lessons, and I look forward to the day when we can run off like this. :)

"deep breath...and we head toward the unknown."
Again, the old prayer comes to mind:
"These are the days the Lord hast made.
Let us rejoice and be glad in them."
Welcome back from the Land that is as it was....
