sisterhood

i'm alive!

a few beautiful friends and I hosted an all-day retreat on Friday...

"THE BRAVE SISTERS SOCIETY"

(our courage comes from God, oh honey--that deserves an "Amen, Sister!")

it was a foretaste of heaven

(it really was)

reading the Word, hiking through God's beautiful woods, creating works of art, laughing, and sharing our hearts.

and incredible food...did I mention that?

i am increasingly amazed at how God blesses me with His daughters.

you know, you get to a certain age where you think your friends are your friends...

and then another beautiful person walks into your story and ta-da...

another whole chapter begins!

i'm off to visit my Dad...one of my very first friends...who was there at the beginning of my story. oh, how i love him!

blessings on you this week...

your friendship blesses me

Thanks so much for visiting me and sharing your thoughts! I am so glad you did, so I could come here and read some of your beautiful posts. God is so good to us, isn't He? You are right, it's amazing how many beautiful friends are right there for us, if we only open our eyes. xo Lidy

Hiking during a bible study? That is awesome.

Real life friends and women who hold you accountable and grow with you are worth their weight in gold.

Glad you have them, Erin and I are wishing you lived in Cali!
