shave & a haircut
tommy visiting our favorite barber
who happens to have a barbershop in the anchorage, ak airport
pictures of "good alaska hunts" grace his tiny space
mostly BIG bears
and stuffed fish on the walls
(do you stuff a fish to hang it on a barbershop wall?)
a little boy's dream barbershop
in a wild state created especially for little (and big!) boys

This post reminds me of the one barbershop in Michigan's Leelanau Peninsula village of Sutton's Bay that sells hunting and fishing licenses, fishing tackle, and lots of good advice.
The walls of the family-friendly 'local' in Leland are adorned with gorgeous mounted fish, deer, bear, etc., trophies and you can get your licenses along with a burger or pizza and a draft.
We did not see the barbershop in Anchorage.
Such wonders of another era are priceless.
Nice photos!!
