Since there is nothing so well worth having as friends, never lose a chance to make them.

Each friend represents a world in us, a world possibly not born until they arrive, and it is only by this meeting that a new world is born.

we pulled off another special event last friday for an amazing group of women from our church.
we call ourselves the brave sisters society
{and the day was absolutely splendid}
when christine, julie and i were cleaning up
christine said something like
do you ever feel so "full" that you could just cry?
and i said
yes. i feel that way every time i say goodbye to you two.
i have always been social, but
when i decided to follow Jesus at age 17 i had no idea that He would bring alongside me incredible women {who follow Him, too}
to be my friends
and these friendships (all of them) are sacred
and deep
and inspiring
and crazy-fun
sometimes the Gift-Giver overwhelms me so much i could cry
So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.
Colossians 2:6-7
Go in peace! The two of us have vowed friendship in God's name, saying, 'God will be the bond between me and you'.

I have wanted the friendship that you have described for quite some time. It's a wonderful blessing and you seem very grateful.
Have a good day!
Cathy -- you must realize, too, that YOU are so good at being a friend that you inspire those same feelings -- those feelings of being so full you could cry...
What makes you such a great friend is definitely your appreciation for your friends... and mostly, your appreciation for even the tiniest of blessings each day. You have such a heart of gratitude -- it spills over, blessing all who even remotely know you....
So happy for you all having such a wonderful weekend.
When God is in the friendship, it is like no other...

This really is just so true...
There is nothing in this world like a good girlfriend. :)
You do realize that you posted this not for you, not for your friends pictured (although the minute I saw them, I KNEW they were part of that group) but for me. Thank you friend for once again pointing me where I should go. On a quirky note, whose dog in the background?
